The Heart of the Mountains Hospice, Inc. provides specially selected and trained staff to clients and their family caregivers in the following areas:
Friendly Visiting
Provide socialization and companionship to those who need physical or emotional support.
Provide companionship and support for a client while the family caretaker "takes a break".
Walking the dog, baking a pie, reading a book, writing letters, reminiscing with the client, taking the kids to the park.
Help family and friends address death and dying issues and work through the grief process.
The FAQs will help a person or physician decide when to refer a loved one or patient to hospice.
